NFTs & Advanced Topics FAQ

NFT (Non-Fungible Token) is a unique digital asset verified on a blockchain. Unlike Bitcoin where each coin is identical, each NFT is one-of-a-kind. NFTs represent ownership of digital art, collectibles, music, virtual real estate, and more.
Staking involves locking up your cryptocurrency to support a proof-of-stake network's operations. In return, you earn rewards (similar to interest). Staking helps secure the network and can provide passive income, but your funds are typically locked for a period.
A DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) is an organization governed by smart contracts and token holder votes rather than traditional management. Members propose and vote on decisions, with rules automatically enforced by code. Examples include Uniswap and MakerDAO.
Liquidity mining means providing crypto assets to decentralized exchanges or lending protocols in exchange for rewards. You deposit token pairs into liquidity pools, enabling others to trade, and earn fees plus bonus tokens. Risks include impermanent loss and smart contract exploits.
